Dr. Rajmohan Panda Dr. Rajmohan Panda MD, MPH is a Senior Public Health specialist and Additional Professor at Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI). He has a Global Health Leadership master’s degree from Emory University, certificate in Global Tobacco Control Leadership Program from Johns Hopkins and a Public Health Leader Implementation research certification in Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) from Emory University, USA. He has worked on diverse public health issues like Nutrition, Maternal Child health, Tobacco Control, and in the designing of health sector reforms for Universal Health Coverage. He has worked widely across India with various stakeholders including State Health Departments, Ministry of Health and Family welfare- Govt. of India, Gates foundation, USAID, UNICEF, DFID, Wellcome trust and Medical research council UK. He is passionate about translational research and has been involved leading studies for evidence generation for more meaningful health outcomes. A variety of work has ranged from academic case studies on pertinent public health issues ranging from maternal child health to examining system’s capacity in chronic /Non-communicable Diseases (NCD). He is passionate about building capacity in tobacco cessation in primary care in the country and has worked in several states to design and evaluate tobacco cessation training programs in Primary care and in Corporate settings. Dr. Manu Raj Mathur Manu is a Dental Surgeon with a PhD in Epidemiology and Population Health from University College London and a Master’s in Public Health with specialization in Dental Public Health from the University of Glasgow (U.K.). He is currently working as Head: Health Policy and Additional Professor at Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI), New Delhi. He has been a recipient of the prestigious Fogarty International Clinical Research Scholarship for the year 2010-11, a Wellcome Trust scholarship for his doctoral studies in the year 2009 and another Wellcome Trust Mid-Career Fellowship to undertake work on psychosocial determinants inequalities in oral health in India. His areas of expertise lies in Operations and Health Systems Research and Health Promotion. He has worked on many projects funded by Government of India, WHO, BMGF, USAID and NIH in the past and is currently leading large-scale projects from MRC UK, Global Bridges Consortium, Government of India and Rockefeller Foundation. He has authored many high impact peer reviewed journal articles and is the author of multiple global health book chapters. He also holds an Honorary Clinical Lecturer position at University College London. He is also teaching at various courses offered at different institutes of PHFI on Health Promotion, Principles of Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Systems and Tobacco Control Modules.
