ABBEY'S BOOKSELLER PICK ----- Terry Hayes takes you on a long (enjoyably so) and action-packed adventure with this novel, moving through several phases (the book is divided into Parts), even stretching into science fiction at one point. The main character of CIA agent Kane (the things that happen to this man!) is supported by a well-drawn cast of characters, especially that of Rebecca, his partner - with all of the complications you might imagine come from being a secret agent in a relationship. It's a big book but the storytelling is compulsive and Hayes's background in screenwriting for movie thrillers such as Cliffhanger is evident. Craig
