I absolutely loved this novel, and the provocative concept and fast-paced plot drove me to finish it in one weekend. The themes cut right to the core of women’s role in our society and Ruth has expertly highlighted the pervasive stereotypes that plague our perceptions of women. Ruth has done a fantastic job sparking a debate about the unseen labour performed by women, and I felt the entire novel was a call to arms for women, driving us to centre ourselves in our own lives and dream bigger. * Marie O'Hare *
