Teresa K. Lasher is an author, speaker, quirky mom, and Nana. Like Frog, she experienced loneliness and bullying due to frequent moves during her school years. Teresa homeschooled her children for a time, like Frog is homeschooled on the boat trip.She married her high school sweetheart, Steve, and then was blessed with two children and four grandchildren. Steve and Teresa's 6,000-mile, year-long boating adventure called The Great Loop is the inspiration for this story.When they're not out exploring God's creation, Teresa and her husband live in Michigan with their adorable Cavalier King Charles dog named Skipper. You might spy Teresa in the back-to-school supplies during the changing-of-the-leaves season, her favorite time of year. Colleen Wray was looking for a creative outlet as she approached retirement. Enrollment in a local community education art course inspired her to create watercolor sketches in a visual art journal. She records memories of boating, nature, and her travels, sharing them with her four granddaughters.Just like Frog, Colleen and her husband Dave lived aboard their boat, Moon Shadow, for a year traveling The Great Loop. She entertained followers on social media by posting whimsical sketches capturing their unique experiences while boating.Frog's Boating Adventures features Colleen's debut illustrations for a children's book in collaboration with her fellow boater friend and author, Teresa K. Lasher. Colleen grew up on a family farm in Minnesota and currently lives in Buffalo, Minnesota.
