Thomas Straker is a British chef, restaurateur and social media phenomenon. Thomas discovered his love of food early in his life, growing up in Herefordshire on his family’s smallholding, being heavily influenced by his mother’s approach to growing food. Realising his passion when he attended Ballymaloe Cookery school in 2009, he worked his way through some of London’s top restaurants for the next 12 years, by which time he felt he had found his style of super-seasonal British cuisine with an Italian influence. This simple approach to food and love of hospitality is what sprung his debut restaurant STRAKER’S into one of the most sought-after tables in London. This is also backed up with his large social following, food created always with the same ethos.
