Sir Michael Caine CBE has been Oscar-nominated six times, winning his first Academy Award for the 1986 film Hannah and Her Sisters. He was appointed a CBE in 1992 and knighted in 2000 in recognition of his contribution to cinema. In 2023 he celebrated his 90th birthday. In 2018 his memoir Blowing the Bloody Doors Off was a Sunday Times top ten bestseller. Deadly Game is his first thriller. Married to Shakira for more than 50 years, he has two daughters and three grandchildren, and lives in London.
