Reports abound on the direct connection between how well kids eat and how succesful they are at learning and competing in sports. But what should they eat? A nutrionist and an educator explain what to feed growing kids ages one to eighteen, including those with diabetes, food allergis, and AD/HD, to develop their maximum physical and mental potential. Meals plans and recipes showcase specific ""brain stimulating"" foods along with practical suggestions for preparing and serving brain foods (including snacks) that kids will actually eat.

Reviews for Brain Food: Recipes for Success for School, Sports, and Life

BRAIN FOOD is a resource that takes the ingredients of the most up-to-date nutritional science and mixes in a liberal portion of common-sense parenting and combines them into a practical, fun, 'can-do' guide that any parent would want to have and use to help their child become more highly healthy. I highly recommend it.--Walt Larimore M.D., Family Physician and Author of SuperSized Kids: How to Rescue Your Child from the Obesity Threat , and God s Design for the Highly Healthy Child and Teen
