From being locked in solitary confinement in Alcatraz prison to starring on a Hollywood film set. Every day was a day of self-discovery and personal development, finally ending when a life-changing decision would had to be made.

After a successful career in the automotive and transport industries he spent the final ten years working in the travel industry. Known as Macka he led tours through many parts the Northern Territory and his home state of Victoria. He regularly travels overseas and is now enjoying full retirement. He lives in Melbourne with his partner and travel companion Kim.
