Josh Pachter is a writer, editor, and translator. At the age of sixteen, Pachter wrote his first short story, which was featured inEllery Queen's Mystery Magazinein 1968. Since then, he has published over one hundred and twenty works of crime fiction. He has also edited and coedited over two dozen anthologies, including the Anthony Awardnominated Paranoia Blues and Happiness Is a Warm Gun.
