On any individual book page you can click the author's name to see all the books they've authored or contributed to.

 

USING THE SEARCH FUNCTION for Author search 

Please note: The image below is just a screenshot (so don't click it) of the SEARCH box that appears when you click the magnifying glass icon (top-right).

The SEARCH function we had on our old site is still there under the SEARCH button on the home page, or via the magnifying glass at the top-right of every page on the site. The four search fields are Title, Author, Description and ISBN.

A really quick way to find a specific book is to use a word from the Title and a word from the Author's name. For example, if you enter Good into Title and Dervla into Author and hit Search, it will show The Good Turn by Dervla McTiernan.

We've also been asked how to sort category results by Author (alphabetically). Example: You're looking at the Crime & Mystery category and want to sort the results by author. Well...ahem... you can't yet, but we're looking into it.

But all is not lost! If you did see an author you like, you can click through on that book and then click the author's name. The site then brings up all the books by that author that are available (either in stock or can be ordered in for you). Example: You're viewing the Crime & Mystery category and you see a book by Michael Robotham. If you click on that book (taking you to the book's page) you can then click on Michael Robotham's name, and all his available books are shown.
