Parker Posey recently appeared in Woody Allen's latest two films, Cafe Society and Irrational Man. Posey is known for her work with Christopher Guest, starring in his classic mockumentaries, as well as for her work with many Independent filmmakers of her generation such as Richard Linklater, Hal Hartley, Zoe Cassavettes, and Rebecca Miller. Her Hollywood film credits include You've Got Mail, Superman Returns, Josie and the Pussycats, Scream 3, Blade Trinity and Columbus. She will appear in a new series written and directed by Jesse Eisenberg based on his book Bream Gives Me Hiccups. Posey is currently playing Dr. Smith in Netflix's remake of Lost in Space.
