Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Eliyahu (a.k.a. Eli) attended the local Jewish day school, Epstein Hebrew Academy, from preschool through junior high school. From there he traveled to Baltimore, Maryland, where he studied in Ner Israel high school. After graduating high school, he went to Israel for advanced Talmudic studies. Eventually, he made Israel his home, where he lives today with his wife and four children. Besides spending a lot of his time studying and teaching, he manages JewishSelfPublishing, a web-based business that offers a variety of quality publishing services with an emphasis on giving customers personal attention.
