Diane was born in Hastings as Diane Mary Flynn in 1946. For Diane, growing up in the 1940s was quite a struggle. She loved art and became a child therapist and a hairdresser. In 2008, Diane Mary Meyer moved to Shetland with her husband, where she set up the Aurora Art Studio. There, she would sit, all day, painting more and more beautiful oil paintings.During 2016-2020, Diane wrote and illustrated the series of books called 'Mrs Tweesdale.' Writing these books kept her content during her treatment. Sadly, though Diane is no longer with us, Diane's talent lives on in her art work and her stories. Wellbeing podcaster, and author of ""The Art of Starting Again,"" former teacher, and children's author, Andrea Bibby has created titles such as ""Mother Moon"" and ""What on Earth Are You Doing?"" among others and worked on many more, like ""Hippo D. Hop"" by Rich Pulin, and ""Songs of the Sea"" by Abdoulaye Samb. She is driven to inspire people of all ages by her stories and personal experiences.Hailing from Warrington, Cheshire (UK), born in 1974, Andrea spent twelve years living in Australia - nine of those years in Frankston, Victoria, the other three in Western Australia, where she enjoyed swimming in waterfalls, sunbaking, and fishing in croc-infested rivers. She is currently living in Shetland, on a picturesque island about a third of the way to Norway from Scotland. The Mother-of four graduated from UHI with an MA in Music and the Environment in 2020, and University of Chester with a B.Ed. (hons) in 1998.
