Mary Jo Krysinski has taught typography and graphic design courses at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and at St. Xavier University for over seventeen years, and has been a practicing graphic designer for over 30 years.
This book combines history, mechanics, and digital practice of type into one. The book supports its theoretical discussion of type with tutorials of digital tools and creative assignments-promising to serve as a single source with which educators can teach typography today. -Dr. Goekhan Ersan, Assistant Professor, SUNY Binghamton
