Beydi Traore was born in Mali and currently lives in Winnipeg, Canada, where he works as a business executive. He is passionate about fiction, writing and is an avid reader of fantasy novels. He wrote several short stories at the age of 22 but eventually put writing aside to focus on his education. Several years later, he returned to his passion and started writing his first novel The Somniatores in 2015. However, he did not finish it until mid 2020s. Passionate about art, video games, cinema, sports and automobiles, Beydi constantly imagines and creates fantastic new worlds that are both innovative and credible while mixing his passion into his stories.
