An horrific death in a grain silo, rural properties mysteriously acquired and a corrupt politician on the move … Detective Susan Swift is blocked at every turn. Can anyone stop Barry Kingscliff? Novelist Hugh Watson draws on his country roots and political background to take readers on a compelling story of political corruption and dogged pursuit.

‘Has the reader hooked from the very first page.’ (Adrian D’Hage, author of The Omega Scroll).
