Here we live in the sacred shadow, but one day, when we pass through the veil of perception which blurs our present reality, when we step over the thread of time which is a boundary for now, but won't be a boundary forever and certainly isn't a boundary for God, we will step out of the sacred shadow and into the sacred substance.

Whether through teaching, writing, leading a team, facilitating group discussions, or being a husband and father, I try to approach life with ardent intensity, calling God's design and desire out of others. But it wasn't always that way. As an atheist for most of my life, I debated the existence of the very God I love today with that same passion and intensity.
