Dr. Kristin Mauldin is the director of the M.S. Sport and Performance Psychology program and an associate professor of sport and performance psychology in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences at California Baptist University (CBU). She graduated with her Ph.D. in psychology from Miami University. Dr. Mauldin also directs the Sport and Exercise Psychology lab at CBU where she oversees student research in sport psychology. Dr. Mauldin’s research interests lie in the psychological benefits of exercise and, specifically, the cognitive and neural mechanisms underlying flow. She typically teaches courses in cognitive psychology, behavioral neuroscience, and sports psychology. Her research has led to multiple publications in scientific journals. She serves on the Cornerstone Committee for APA Division 47. Dr. Mauldin currently resides with her family in the mountains of Southern CA where she enjoys trail running, hiking, and archery amongst the trees.
