Struck by the events of 9/11, Jack Murphy enlisted in the Army after graduating from high school in 2002. He served in the 75th Ranger Regiment and then in the 5th Special Forces Group, completing three combat deployments. He served as an antitank gunner, sniper, squad team leader, and senior weapons sergeant on a Special Forces team. After leaving the military in 2010, he went to college, got involved in a start-up news company, and began writing novels on the side. Eventually, this led him to where he is today- owning or co-owning three companies in the fields of podcasting, investigative journalism, and corporate intelligence.
Praise for The Most Dangerous Man: “Jack Murphy’s The Most Dangerous Man is a thriller crafted from dynamite and razor wire. A lone hero to root for against a large cast of villains who richly deserve what’s coming! This novel is pure adrenaline-soaked fun—I read this scorcher faster than any book I’ve picked up in years.” —Mark Greaney #1 NYT bestselling author of The Hard Line, A Gray Man novel
