From it's opening pages, this book overflows with the passion and love that Arís has for this subject. His dedication to the reader is a loving gesture that communicates the motivations and philosophy behind this book: a love for the planet and for those who steward it. Arís' art is emotive, the pallet is inviting and gentle. His illustration reminds me of the way in which children see the world. My favorite moment of the art comes at a centerfold, with illustrations entitled ""Some Examples of Consumers."" On these two pages we see Arís style, which really captures a balance between simplicity and detail. I strongly recommend this book to anyone who has a love for the clean, simple basics of environmentalism, as well as anyone who wants to inspire and educate a child in their lives with a love for our planet!
