In sickness and in health. Till death do us part... Or maybe not. What happens when someone refuses to let go? Despite the traumatic loss of her father four years ago and her struggles with an alcoholic mother, Aurelia Kingston's life seemed to be improving. As Brunswick Shire's brightest medical student and having caught the eye of school heartthrob Angus, everything seemed perfect... at least on the surface. But as winter blankets the small Canadian Shire in thick snow, and rumours of a missing student drift through the quiet streets, the arrival of the handsome and mysterious Professor Alister Shane sends shockwaves through the town. When Aurelia finds herself bound, gagged, and trapped in a cold, damp bunker, she begins to realize just how tragic her life has truly become. Desperate to escape and faced with a sinister choice, Aurelia is forced to confront her darkest demons. But the real question is, will she end up falling for one?

Samantha Little is an Australian Criminal and Family Lawyer with her own law practice run by her and her partner, criminal lawyer Dane Keenes. She has a bachelor's in law, a diploma of legal practice and a background in psychological science. After publishing her first non-fiction novel about mental health in September 2015, she received a glowing review by the 24th Annual Writer's Digest Self-Published Book Awards, and given an award for runner-up Young Victorian of the Year in 2016 and 2017 for her work in the mental health sphere, Samantha turned her attention to helping her clients in the legal field. Based in the border town of Albury/Wodonga, on an afternoon when the sun is just starting to set, Samantha can be found typing furiously on her keyboard, enamoured by the next town and characters that she is carefully creating. The Cure marks her debut into the wonderful world of fiction publishing, with no doubt many more novels to come.
