Even though the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic has ended, health data regularly published by the World Health Organization shows that the virus has not completely disappeared. This means that infection is still possible, but, fortunately, without enormous consequences for the world's population. Because the virus is still present, it is worth remembering the precautions that prevented its spread. Considering that the SARS-CoV-2 virus is still circulating, and for people with seriously impaired health and the elderly, it is still a danger, it is necessary to observe precautionary measures. In case of symptoms, testing should be done immediately. Infected persons should practice enhanced hand hygiene, and symptomatic patients should also practice respiratory hygiene. A sick person during this period can especially endanger chronic patients, elderly people, pregnant women and immunocompromised people, and contact with them should be avoided. Going to health facilities should also be avoided if it is not necessary for health care, and if going is still necessary, then the infected person should emphasize immediately upon arrival that they are infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus and should not be denied the necessary therapy and/or necessary health care. A person with clearly expressed symptoms who is positive for COVID-19 should also avoid any contact with a large number of people in a closed space, including public transport.
