Willie Beesley is a lifelong teacher with more than three decades of experience guiding and supporting students from preschool to high school. He was born and raised in Monterey, California, earning a bachelor's degree in special education and a master's degree in counseling and psychology. In his constant pursuit of truth, creativity, and connection, Willie drafted The Bird Song and waited for the right illustrator to bring his story to life. David Daniels was that person. A comic artist, David is passionate about expressing ideas through art and illustration. He studied graphic design in Budapest before collaborating with Willie to publish The Bird Song, their first book, and help others recognize the gift of finding their song.
