There is a broad consensus on the importance of science and technology for the development of contemporary societies. However, little progress has been made in concretely assessing the impact of science and technology on local development. This research aims to provide an assessment by showing the general effects of knowledge of technological innovation on the growth of families' quality of life. The aim of the research was to develop actions that contribute to innovative farm management in the town of Oshomucuyo, Ondjiva. The work took place between March and September 2023. The design was structured in phases that gave chronological and systemic output to the specific objectives. The research was qualitative and based on the principles of participatory action research, as described by Roa et al. (2002). The historical-logical, analytical-synthetic and structural-systemic methods were used. Survey research was the fundamental strategy of the investigation, which was qualitative in terms of gathering data and quantitative in terms of interpreting it.
