Lesley Ellis Miller is Senior Curator of Textiles and Fashion at the Victoria and Albert Museum and Professor of Dress and Textile History at the University of Glasgow. Claire Allen-Johnstone is Assistant Curator of Furniture, Textiles and Fashion at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
