Neurodegenerative disorders pose a significant global health challenge, affecting millions of individuals and placing immense strain on families, healthcare systems, and economies. Advancements in understanding the underlying molecular mechanisms have opened new avenues for early diagnosis and targeted therapies. Innovative treatments like enzyme replacement and gene-editing technologies offer promising potential to slow disease progression and improve quality of life. These scientific breakthroughs not only enhance clinical care but also catalyze interdisciplinary collaboration across research, medicine, and policy. As society confronts aging populations and increasing neurological conditions, continued innovation in this field is crucial for sustainable, compassionate healthcare solutions. Recent Breakthroughs in Neurodegenerative Disorders and Enzyme Therapy explores molecular mechanisms, diagnostic, strategies, and therapeutic advancements for neurodegenerative conditions. Designed to bridge basic science and clinical applications, this book examines the role of lysosomal enzymes, advancements in gene-editing for enzyme delivery, and the translation of lab findings into real-world therapies. Covering topics such as artificial intelligence, neuroimaging, and radiation, this book is an excellent resource for neuroscientists, clinicians, medical researchers, biochemists, and more.
