Ray Cromer grew up in a Southern Baptist Church, was married in the Methodist Church, and later answered his call to preach in the Church of the Nazarene. He's pastored in the Nazarene Church, Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and a non-denominational church for years while working a full-time, secular job. He believes that no matter where you worship, it's not about your church name or denomination-but about Jesus Christ. Jesus alone is Ray's sound doctrine and, as the Apostle Paul said, he also ""preach[es] Christ crucified."" The Lord is number one in Ray's life, and he'll serve and follow Him wherever He chooses to send him. At home Ray has a wonderful, faithful wife, two sons, a daughter, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, being outdoors, and spending time with God's family. He's spent the last year writing My Call, My Thorn, His Grace and seeking God's will in his life. Ray thanks Dr. Russel Branstetter, his former District Superintendent with the Church of the Nazarene, for his guidance and support.
