This book analyzes the future temperature trend of the earth's surface using a scientific model and provides an overview of the causes and effects of climate change. The content also includes relevant data and facts on the topics of carbon budget, demography, glaciers, permafrost, biodiversity, mobility and extreme weather. The rapid global reduction of the increase in CO₂ to net zero is an urgent necessity in order to enable future generations to live a life in dignity. As the main perpetrators, the industrialized countries have a moral responsibility to implement the reduction quickly and to support developing countries in this process. The book is also aimed at and suitable for people with little connection to mathematics.
