Imagine a world of tranquility, and it's within your reach. Yeah, yeah, dream on.

The situation begins with an urgent call from Josh Johnson, my brother's boyfriend, informing me that Daniel has gone missing. Since I love my brother dearly, Raven and I rush to assist. We immediately start searching for Daniel and successfully rescue him from some idiots who are after his dormant magic. All's well that ends well, you would say, but no such luck. Of course, no such luck.

Just when I believe Raven and I have finally secured some much-needed quality time by putting everything on hold, another case unexpectedly lands on my doorstep. Lucius Grimvante, a highly respected member of the magical community, requests my assistance in locating and retrieving the Fountain of the Veil. To clarify, he demands it-this is a man you don't refuse. I could decline, but doing so would risk incurring a war between my family and the council.

Our new adventure transports us through a mystical porthole into a vast, unfamiliar realm teeming with enigmatic magic and complex challenges. To find the Fountain of the Veil, we must solve a series of intricate puzzles. Puzzles, for God's sake, which add a surreal layer to our already perilous quest. With the life of a loved one hanging in the balance, our resolve is relentlessly tested as we face external threats and internal fears, with the outcome remaining uncertain until the very end. What I didn't realize at the time is that this would become the most dangerous assignment I have ever undertaken, one that might even claim a life.

Oh, and did I mention that Raven bought us a house? Well, it's not a house quite yet, but rather a ruin.

I always say that there isn't much to tell about me. In 2020, right before the Corona pandemic, my husband and I moved back from Germany to the Netherlands. I love to write stories, and it's still a learning process, as it's with many things. I like traveling and taking care of Emma, my doggie. Also, I would like more spare time to read, but all my time is divided between my regular job, writing stories, and Emma. I've been a vegetarian for many years now and never regretted it. Also, I despise people who wear fur. It's disgusting! I will never understand people who help keep maintaining this awful industry of torturing and killing animals. I like to cook and love to try new recipes; it's how I learned that nearly every dish can be served with meat substitutes. My husband and I spend the winters in beautiful Spain, where the temperatures are pleasant. Even so, it's Italy that's still my favorite country. That's enough for now. If you have questions, just contact me.
