Over the course of centuries heroes have risen to become great leaders, all with a shared theme echoing through their narratives. The great stories speak of them, and of how they confronted all forms of evil, especially the formidable armies of Hell.

'Jacob - War of the End Times' - is the third in a riveting five book series, recounting the tale of a monumental battle that threatens the very fabric of all existence. Led by the power of the Gods, the Light is defended by those of myth and legend, and the millions of Carriers who received Jacob's message. It's an epic battle fought against an evil and menacing army of Dark Angels, Demon Hounds, serpents and wraiths, all led by the Prince of Hell and the stifling shadow of The Darkness.

Have the messengers done enough to accomplish their mission?

Does Jacob possess the strength to command the Armies of the Light?

Will the Gods and Humanity endure the ceaseless onslaught from the forces of Hell?

Eamon Blake is from Crumlin, a Southside suburb of Dublin, Ireland, a place he still has a great love for. It was there, between 1970 and 1975, where he attended the local secondary school, Meanscoil Naomh Colm. During fifth and sixth year, he had the pleasure of being taught English by the late Michael Condon, an inspirational teacher who had an amazing teaching technique commanding the greatest of respect from his pupils. Eamon believes that as a result of that teacher's style and perseverance he developed an interest in writing. It was in that same school where he developed his passion for real and classical history. The history and mythology learned during that time lingered in Eamon's mind and those early influences only resurfaced in recent years, inspiring him to pen a series of five fantasy novels recounting the tale of a Dublin schoolboy discovering his extraordinary powers, and who he actually was.A widower with one son, Eamon, over the years, has successfully navigated various employment roles involving procurement, sales and marketing. His professional journey included delivering marketing presentations to major wholesale and retail chains, as well as participating in monthly sales and planning meetings. He believes the wealth of experience garnered during those years helped him develop his own writing style, ultimately leading to the Jacob series.Eamon's first foray into writing began with him researching and publishing a book detailing the history and genealogy of his own family in central Dublin, dating back to the 1780s. Motivated by a desire to share this heritage, he produced and published enough copies exclusively for his extended family. The idea for the Jacob series came to Eamon in the late summer of 2016 after he witnessed a charming yet humorous incident in Temple Bar, Dublin. This event led to the realisation that a fantastical story could be crafted by intertwining major historical events from Africa, America, Europe, the Far East as well as the Near East, linking them, and drawing inspiration from worldwide mythological realms featuring Centaurs, Dragons, Elves, The Gods, The Little People, Mer-Peoples, The Yeti and Wizards.
