Bjoern Natthiko Lindeblad (1961-2022) was a Swedish public speaker, meditation teacher and former Buddhist monk. In his mid-twenties Bjoern swapped his career as a business executive for life as a forest monk in the jungles of Thailand. There he was given the name Natthiko, meaning 'one who grows in wisdom'. After seventeen years as a monk he returned to Swedish society and, in 2018, was diagnosed with the incurable disease ALS. I May Be Wrong was an instant Sunday Times bestseller and a number one bestseller in Sweden. It is being translated into twenty-nine languages.

Reviews for I May Be Wrong: And Other Wisdoms from Life as a Forest Monk

[An] extraordinary life . . . A book that, improbably, mixes elements of profundity and sweetness in equal measure. I read it, turning down the corners of pages I wished to refer back to, and marking certain passages with a pencil. By the end, almost every page was folded and marked * Telegraph * How magnificently disconcerting of this Swedish former forest monk to admit to doubts, even profound ones. His book is a multiple prize-winner across Europe, and you can quickly see why . . . Contains more wisdom and will do people more good than the complete works of Paul McKenna . . . This is a book of some brilliance * Daily Mail * I loved every single page . . . It's not only just laced with the most incredible wisdom, but it's also gentle and beautiful and eloquent. There's so much storytelling . . . I literally could not put this book down -- Fearne Cotton Genuinely stays with you . . . Written with humility, charm and wit . . . There is not only gentle wisdom in these pages, but it's a great read, too . . . Each chapter describes scenes from Lindeblad's life and valuable lessons he has learned, that will encourage you to let go of the small stuff, accept the things you cannot control and open your heart and mind to a more happy and peaceful life * Woman & Home * With our potential to maintain a peaceful state of mind, it is possible to remain optimistic in the face of difficulties. Bjoern Natthiko Lindeblad, a former forest monk in Thailand, relates his experience of training to properly direct his thoughts which can benefit all -- His Holiness the Dalai Lama Contains so many wisdoms that tie in with the big issues that the world wrestles with today . . . Heart-rending, yet at the same time so beautiful * Nyhetsmorgon (Sweden) *
