As digital organizations reshape economies and societies, their environmental impact has come under scrutiny. The concept of green governance emerges as a strategic framework for ensuring digital enterprises align their operations, technologies, and growth with environmental sustainability. This reduces carbon footprints and energy consumption while integrating sustainability into corporate decision-making, data practices, and innovation strategies. With the rise of climate challenges, integration of green governance into digital organizations represents a critical step toward sustainable digital transformation. Further exploration into how digital organizations adopt green governance practices, may reveal new challenges and implications for sustainable development in the digital age. Green Governance of Digital Organizations examines the integration of green economy principles, emphasizing low-carbon, resource-efficient, and socially inclusive development, into the administration of digital organizations. It explores the significance of technology, data-informed decision-making, and digital transformation in attaining sustainability objectives, providing policy frameworks, ESG (environmental, social, and governance) standards, and digital advances that facilitate sustainable economic activity across various industries. This book covers topics such as management science, renewable energy, and business governance, and is a useful resource for policymakers, business owners, academicians, researchers, and environmental scientists.
