Having served for over 30 years as a teacher and minister to families with children and youth, SARA FONTANA witnessed first-hand the deep impact of helping young people discover God's active presence in their daily lives. Her passion for nurturing faith in the next generation inspired her to create GOD HUGS, a book designed to make abstract spiritual concepts tangible and accessible for children and their families. This book is a culmination of years of experience, prayer, and a heartfelt desire to share the comforting truth that God is love. MAGGIE MCKENNA makes her picture book illustration debut with this project, a special collaboration with her Godmother. Maggie's creative pursuits include drawing, animating, and enjoying walks with her cat, Frodo. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Denver and a Certification in Classical Animation from Vancouver Film School, following a semester spent in Japan.
