God places a piece of His heart into every one of his human creations. Suddenly one day that beating heart of God shakes the very foundation of our lives...and a distant light in the darkened tunnel begins to shine! This light becomes more visible as we conclude that it might be time to evaluate our life-our decisions, beliefs, and choices. A light that gnaws at us and incessantly codes our consciousness and gently leads us to seeking!

So where do you find the truth about what happens after death? If you have a passion to learn, you will find the answers in these pages! From Thorns and Thistles to Fertile Ground was written by a layman, a sinner, and a lover of Jesus for those who are in a place he used to be. Author Terry Mather was lost in his own unsupported beliefs and undocumented truths, ignoring the thing that kept telling him the road he had chosen to follow was leading to total devastation!

Terry Mather was so lucky to have Marsha, his wife, who encouraged him to write about God's truths. Terry grew up on a dairy farm in upstate New York. Post college, he taught and coached at a small high school and junior college and later became the head wrestling coach at the University of Notre Dame. Mather's next life phase led to ownership in a performance consultant group, a retail business, and a manufacturing company. He has authored three other books: Potholes and Signposts, The Kingdom Come Thru the Generations, and Entrepreneurism Under Attack.
