Meet the Finders, the enchanting collectors of lost items... This magical illustrated adventure has a timeless and classic feel and will be loved by readers of The Magic Faraway Tree, The Borrowers, Wildsmith and The Boy Who Grew Dragons.

A delightful story of friendship, courage and caring for the environment, this book makes a perfect gift for ages 7-10, and is ideal for independent readers or reading aloud.

""We Finders have what we call the Golden Rule: Finders Keepers.""

While hunting for an old time capsule that his grandma once buried in the woods, Max never expects to discover the home of a small magical creature. Nor does he expect that magical creature to have an extensive collection of lost items, all catalogued and labelled. Yet this is how he meets Tuftorious Snook, collector of lost objects, and just one of the many Finders living in Silverthorn Forest.

Thrilled by his discovery, Max can't wait to find out more about these extraordinary creatures. But when he accidentally breaks the most important rule – never steal – he's banished from their home. With Silverthorn Forest in danger, however, Max must somehow find a way to save Tuft and the other Finders before it's too late.

Reviews for Finders of Silverthorn Forest: The Lost Treasures: A beautifully illustrated and timeless magical adventure for ages 7, 8, 9, 10, perfect for cosy bedtime reading

A charming story with a heartfelt environmental message, all about trusting new friends, treasuring family and memories, and protecting our ancient trees and all who dwell in them. * Liz Flanagan, author of the Wildsmith series * Utterly enchanting and gorgeously written. I lost myself in Silverthorn Forest with Tuftorious Snook and Max, and I highly recommend that everyone else does the same. Beneath this story’s warmth and charm is an extremely timely message about the importance of looking after the world around us and standing up for what is right. * Clare Harlow, author of Tidemagic: The Many Faces of Ista Flit * What a cosy read, so full of warmth and charm! A gorgeous tale of courage, friendship and discovering the true value in the things we sometimes overlook. An absolute classic in the making! * Chrissie Sains, author of the Jam Factory series *
