Dr. Chin-Hong Puah is an Associate Professor cum Deputy Dean at the UNIMAS Business School, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). He obtained his PhD degree majoring in Financial Economics. Puah has been actively involved in Macroeconomics and Monetary Economics areas since 2000. Until now, he received more than 40 research grants and consultancy projects with totaling amount more than RM7 million. At present, he has published more than 80 referred journal articles in various international journals. He received several academic awards from UNIMAS which include the Best Researcher Award, Anugerah Ahli Akademik Harapan, Young Researcher Award, Highest Impact Factor Journal Article Award (Social Sciences Category) and Best Teaching Award; several Best Paper Awards and Gold Medal Awards in international conferences and research exhibitions. He is also an Associate Managing Editor for International Journal of Business and Society (IJBS) that is now indexed in SCOPUS and Thomson Reuters Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI).
