Scot is a well-respected entrepreneur in the elder care industry who spent his early life working in aeronautics before owning his own home care business. He is a national keynote speaker for the eldercare industry as well as an instructor in dementia care.Scot first encountered the challenge of balancing caregiving with employment in 2008 when his father suffered a heart attack. There was no company policy for supporting caregiving employees he could not find the help he needed for his father. Realizing the growing need for caregivers, and the lack of employer guidance or awareness, he dedicated his life and career to aiding the eldercare industry. In 2011 he owned a home care franchise, Senior Helpers, which supplied highly trained caregivers to help the elderly live independently in their home. In 2014, he co-founded the Senior Providers Network to help educate caregivers and guide them to the right resources. This experience helped him transition into a career in the eldercare industry.
