Divine Breath: Unlocking the Biblical Blueprint for Christian Meditation and Spirit-Led Breathwork
This groundbreaking book unveils the lost foundation of Christian meditation and biblical breathwork-a sacred practice encoded in Hebrew Scripture. The ancient Hebrew words for meditation-Hagah, Siyach, and others-carry rich spiritual meaning, often missed in modern translations. At the core of these terms lies the breath (Ruach and Neshamah), which God breathed into humanity at creation. That divine breath still flows in believers today, offering access to His presence, peace, and power.

Divine Breath calls Christians to return to meditation as it was meant to be-anchored in God's Word, empowered by His Spirit, and practiced through the sacred rhythm of breathing. This is not new-age breathing with Christian language; it is God's original design for intimacy, healing, and transformation.

Waldemar Zambrano is a Meditation Specialist, Christian Life Coach, and a Supervisor for the Department of Homeland Security at Chicago's O'Hare Airport. As a kid, Waldemar grew up in the city streets of Chicago during the 60s and 70s. At 24, while in college, he began a spiritual journey that led him to meditation. He was fascinated by the language of awareness and how thoughts affected our beliefs and our faith. After six months of intense practice, an inner transformation opened his eyes to the spiritual realm. The change was so profound that he had come to a point where he had to decide on either continuing up that particular spiritual path or returning to the world and pursuing his lifelong career goals. He chose the latter, reluctantly giving up his meditation practice and gradually losing the spiritual awakening he had experienced. Flash forward ten years; Wally gets married, has children, and receives Jesus as his Lord and Savior. The next few years are devoted to understanding, integrating, and deepening his love of the Bible and his relationship with Jesus Christ. His career shifts towards ministry and becomes an accomplished producer/director for TV-38, a Christian Television Station based in Chicago that later becomes Total Living Network. During his 20 years of television experience, he was nominated for three Midwest Emmy Awards and directed three Midwest Emmy-winning Christian Shows.Wally also served in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard for 23 years, including deployments to Kosovo in 2000 and Iraq in 2003. Upon his return from Iraq, Wally retired from the National Guard as a master sergeant. It was, however, in Iraq, where a traumatic event that nearly caused him to have a complete nervous breakdown reawakened his spiritual path towards meditation. It was in that moment of fear, anguish, fierce demonic attacks, and a cry out to God that resulted in a gentle voice that told him to breathe, to breathe, and allow the spirit within to take control of the situation. The voice guided him into a deep spiritual meditation that allowed him to recover and heal from the event. This profound spiritual experience launched him on a quest to integrate and deepen his spiritual life with meditation for the next few years. He understood the ramifications of integrating an eastern practice rejected by the Christian community. He was intrigued by Christian leaders who would come to the television station and attempt to convey the power of breathing without making it sound like meditation. Wally was determined to change that, but he also had to make sure that it pleased God and that it truthfully strengthened a Christian's relationship with Him.So, Wally decided to form Christian Meditation Academy, an organization established to teach Christians that integrating mindfulness meditation with Biblical principles is a safe and highly effective tool for developing a strong spiritual walk with God. He spent years developing, while praying for guidance from the Holy Spirit on practical meditations grounded on Biblical principles that would create spiritual renewal for those looking for deeper relationships with God.
