Julia's mission is for everyone who works in the NHS to be less frazzled!Julia has worked in or for the NHS since 1987. She has spent the last 20 years or so in quality improvement roles working at a national, regional, and organisational level, and holds an MBA. Her most senior position was as a National Coach at the Department of Health and Social Care, although, as her husband pointed out, this job title sounded more like a bus company than an NHS job! After 23 years in the NHS, Julia set up on her own, continuing to provide quality improvement support to NHS teams and organisations. Over the years, Julia has felt the same feelings of being stretched, overwhelmed and under pressure that affect many NHS staff. During a particularly difficult time, she invested significant effort in researching strategies about how to de-frazzle, but to no avail. Then, one day, she realised that the golden nugget that was missing from all her attempts was applying the same quality improvement tools and techniques she taught others to herself. This was a game-changer, and she has never looked back. She is now keen to share her learning with others.
