Reviews for Clinical Specialties: Medical student revision guide

"Great book and perfect level of detail '10/10 book with just right of detail whether studying for finals or starting as a junior doctor. Really useful diagrams too.' Amazon reviewer A must have for Medical Students 'This book is honestly life saving if you're a medical student. The content is concise, easy to follow and really digestible. This book somehow make med school finals seem less overwhelming.' Amazon reviewer Amazing book. Everything you need to know. 'This book is something that every single medical student NEEDS to have. It's so well organised and covers everything you need to know. The pages are colourful and have clever colour keys, this really helps me remember it because I have a visual memory. The pages themselves are good because they are thick paper but aren't laminated, so you can actually highlight or annotate on it yourself too. My other revisions guides have been put at the back of my bookshelf because of this guide!! I'll be telling all my friends to get it, cannot recommend it more!!' Amazon reviewer Exam essential for medical students 'Seriously impressed with this book. It's brilliantly laid out with just the right level of info for clinical years. It's up to date, easy to read and allows you to learn a huge amount in a short time.' Amazon reviewer Great resource for medical students 'This book is an amazing resource for medical students. It has all the key information presented in a concise manner, as well as useful tips and summary tables.' Amazon reviewer Highly recommend 'Amazing book! Used it religiously for finals.' Amazon reviewer Must have book for med students 'This is such a great book for medical students! Really student friendly with loads of colourful text and has lots of useful summary tables and pictures. Can't wait to use it for exams. This is great for any medical students or junior doctors.' Amazon reviewer So far I love the layout and how it is presented. I really like how the less important and more important information is highlighted with different colours. For someone like me who gets bogged down with detail, knowing what to learn first (important info) and what should be learned later (less important info) would be really useful in textbooks. Using the red for red flags and emergency points is eye-catching and makes it stand out. I have never seen the different colour boxes for differential diagnosis, risk factors/triggers and complications or prognosis and I really like this idea. It makes the information more visually appealing and means these concepts are differentiated from each other which is great for making flashcards etc. The overall layout is very clear, well spaced and out is a great revision guide. I am really enjoying using the section I have so thank you for sending it to me. Having the room at the side for your own notes is also really useful as sometimes there are additional points we may be taught in university, found on placements or additional local guidelines which you may want to add and having this space is great. I haven't seen this feature before either and I think this is a great concept for students as often there are university specific ""buzz words"" for exams or placements."
