Rip, native Chicago son, stands on the corner, drugs in his pocket, defiance in his heart. Soon, a cop will chase him, catch him, place a gun in Rip's hand, and-for reasons unknown-force Rip to fire a bullet into the cop's own skull.
Clan takes place within the bitter forced marriage of law and poverty. Two families, from differing sides of town, will seek to punish those they believe responsible and save those they believe are not.
