D. C. Ruschman is an attorney who served as a Corporate Attorney and General Manager of Litigation for railroad and marine companies. In addition, he was responsible for purchasing insurance from domestic and international carriers. These positions provided him with unique insights into claimants' minds and motives.
He was born into a family of ten, where six boys lived in one room and shared one bathroom with four girls. While that sounds like a modest existence, he says it didn't feel that way at all. He was raised in a loving and caring home, and the siblings always had each other to rely on. He is widowed and retired and has three accomplished children and eleven amazing grandchildren.
He excelled at school and one of his professors in college wrote, ""You write the way you speak, and that's a good thing."" This is nowhere more evident than in this first novel.
