Monica T. Rodriguez is the author of the technothriller Bulletproof. Her fascination with the eerie, odd, and supernatural began with the Creature Feature movies of Saturday afternoon TV and its six-fingered hand crawling out of the ground and into her imagination. In addition to nightmares of bugs making words on her walls, those movies sparked a lifetime's worth of stories that tend to bend the laws of physics.Monica prefers thrillers, science fiction, and fantasy that straddle the border between reality and the realm beyond that fascinates us all. Her current favorite series is The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher, and especially the audiobooks narrated by James Marsters. She thoroughly enjoyed the Red Rising Saga by Pierce Brown (book 6 finally out!). And she's one of those nerds who reads the book before watching the show. So she's read the Game of Thrones series by George R.R. Martin and is now working her way through The Expanse series by James S.A. Corey. Monica lives in the Hudson Valley region north of New York City, far enough to be considered upstate by city dwellers but close enough to be considered a city dweller by those upstate.
