Tammy Beam, a North Carolina native, brings more than 25 years of experience in the mental health field into her debut memoir, Broken to Love Again: Unapologetically Me. Raised in the small town of Lawndale in a single-parent home, she owes her resilience and survival skills to her mother's strength and wisdom. Tammy holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Appalachian State University, and Master's degrees in Human Service Counseling and School Counseling from Liberty University and Capella University, respectively. She is currently a licensed School Counselor in Gaston County, North Carolina. This book is the culmination of her lifelong quest to understand and conquer mental health and trauma.
