Alvina Collinson is a retired Early Childhood Teacher, who is pretty sure that she has read thousands of books to hundreds of children throughout her teaching career, and still loves to read to her grandchildren! Alvina spent an idyllic childhood growing up in a small fishing village [and consequently spent lots of time outside exploring]in New Zealand and moved to the Gold Coast at twenty one. She has lived in Brisbane, Sydney, and Perth with her husband and four children. Alvina still loves to explore and reading is her favourite pastime. She now works with her husband, helping him run their earthmoving business and of course writing!
