Harry Binnendyk is a System Analyst/Computer Programmer that has found himself immersed in the world of children's stories. The journey began as a Christmas gift idea in 2019 for his great nephews and nieces and has found itself as an annual event ever since. The stories were envisioned as bedtime readings for parents and children to enjoy together, or for kids to enjoy and chuckle at the antics of the characters as they wind their way through strange situations that they have invariably created for themselves. Barbara came onboard to help bring the stories to life, beginning with Hank's Horrible Hiccups. She has gone on to illustrate Gus Gets Gas and this years story Bob's Best Bodyguard.

Reviews for Bob's Best Bodyguard

It is probably safe to say that most every child can both name and recall the antics of a bully he/she once knew, while going to school. This book provides an unforgettable, creative, and humorous story of Bob's solution to dealing with his school bully (Brutus)! Children will be both amused and delighted with the story and especially its memorable outcome !Dr. Amy L. Ramsay, Ph.D., Ph.D., Ed.S. Bullies beware, there are new superheroes on the move at schools near you! The story of Bob will remind young readers of the power of having someone or something that you can depend on when you feel insecure or unsafe. Whether kids are feeling bullied feel there are circumstances out of their control, the power of friends to help out and feeling safe in their surroundings is universal. Animals at schools should become more mainstream! Also glad to see a STEAM story showcased.Jen Bordihn
