Melanie Duckworth, Ph.D is an associate professor and director of psychological services at the University of Nevada, Reno. She received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology at the University of Georgia and completed her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship in behavioral medicine at Brown University School of Medicine. Her clinical and research interests and activities are in the areas of posttraumatic stress and coping consequent to psychological and physical injury. William T. O'Donohue, Ph.D. is professor and chairman of the Department of Psychology at the University of Nevada, Reno. For the past 16 years Dr. O'Donohue has directed a free clinic supported by a National Institute of Justice grant which assesses and treats sexually abused children. He has published over 70 books, and 150 journal articles and book chapters. He holds advanced degrees both in philosophy and psychology. For the past 14 years, he has been director of a free clinic that treats children who have been sexually abused and adults who have been sexually assaulted.
