Wayne Mitchell is from St. Louis, Missouri. He is a US Navy veteran. In As the Child of an Alcoholic, Wayne and Tamara Mitchell share the life stories of children of alcoholics and demonstrate how to overcome the effects of growing up in an alcoholic household. For 22 years, Wayne and Tamara Mitchell wrote the international relationship advice column Direct Answers. The column appeared in newspapers in more than a dozen countries. Tamara Mitchell was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She is a breast cancer survivor. Tamara says, ""We are students of relationships, who believe in observational learning.
