Matti Laine is Professor of Psychology at the Åbo Akademi University, Turku, Finland. With a background in clinical neuropsychology, he has conducted research on both normal and deficient language processing and their neural correlates over several decades. Nadine Martin has a background in speech and language pathology and cognitive psychology and is certified by the American Speech, Language & Hearing Association. She is a Laura H. Carnell Professor of communication sciences and disorders at Temple University, Philadelphia, United States. Her research in both the theoretical and clinical aspects of word retrieval and verbal short-term memory has been supported by the National Institutes of Health for the past three decades.
