Two months after taking over leadership of the Southside Vampires, a gang that traffics in stolen goods, Bram is completely out of his depth. The first blow came when Rohan, the owner of a highly profitable all-male strip club, refused the offer to join up with the Vampires for profit-sharing and protection. The second blow came when Bram caught his long-time girlfriend cheating on him with his own lieutenant, in Bram's own bed.
Bram is desperate for control, and that's exactly what he thinks he'll get when he picks up a mute call boy in his car with the hopes of teaching an inexperienced, young idiot a lesson about choosing his marks. What should have been an exercise in dominance very quickly spirals as Bram unwittingly finds himself invited into a threesome with, not one, but two guys-despite every urging that Bram is straight. It seems like everyone around him knows more about Bram than he ever knew himself.
That call boy is not what he seems. No known name, but two frequently used aliases: Angel and Pearl. Despite recent conflicts, meetings have been arranged by Angel/Pearl for Bram and Rohan to discuss unknown matters, off the books.
